  • Responsibilities

    • Perform root cause analysis of quality issues, often using advanced problem solving tools (like Kepner Tregoe, Shainin Red X, Design of Experiments). Recommend and implement simple cost-effective permanent corrective actions. Analyze quality data from internal and external indicators to ensure correlation. Manage engineering changes, working with cross-functional team to ensure timely execution.
    • Conduct product evaluation requests to ensure robustness of product or process change before full implementation.
    • Work with Engineering and Suppliers to resolve issues that are not plant controllable.
    • Recommend and validate rework procedures.
    • Develop inspection procedures and best methods for performing inspection. Develop projects to support World Class Manufacturing.Requirements:
      Specific Duties: Manage the resolution of issues associated with current or future vehicle design, build, and testing. Represent the "Voice of the Customer" to the design and manufacturing teams.
    • Drive a disciplined approach to the problem solving and root cause analysis process.
    • Lead the preparation of Industrial Head review packages associated with quality issues.
    • Coordinate product verification testing audits on pre-production vehicles to support production start approval.
    • Drive and evaluate corporate and competitive products.
    • Plan, prioritize, set goals and manage multiple projects in a technical and business environment.
    • Present in and/or prepare presentation material for meetings involving all levels of the company.


    • Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering
    • 1-5 years Product - overall vehicle knowledge / Quality experience (will consider internship/co-op & projects)
    • Prior application and use of problem solving tools and statistics
    • MS Office proficiency, including presentation skills - PM skills a plus
    • Must be self-motivated, results driven, able to work with minimal supervision
    • Excellent critical thinking and leadership skills for this cross functional role
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills




    • Will be required to drive a company vehicle - valid driver’s license and clean driving record required
    • Will be required to travel both domestic and international (<20%) interacting with Vehicle Assembly Plant and Supplier Test facilities.
