  • Responsibilities

    • Responsible for leading Powertrain Controls and Calibration process development and timing.
    • The candidate will work closely with various powertrain, program management, and Chief Engineering teams to ensure software deliverables are met on time.
    • Develop software release plans and gain timing commitment from various teams
    • Create software development plans to ensure program functional objectives are met
    • Ensure testing of software changes are completed per the plan
    • Lead teams to ensure technical risks and issues have a clear mitigation and resolution path
    • Lead teams and manage issues to closure within a given time frame
    • Communicate effectively the flow of information between all project stakeholders
    • Engage management as necessary to ensure project risks and issues are conveyed
    • Lead weekly HMS meetings
    • Create and post HMS meeting minutes with assigned follow-up tasks
    • Ensure software development plans are being met on time
    • Present HMS project status to management


    • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, Computer Engineering or other related Engineering degree.
    • 1+ years' experience in a power-train automotive environment
    • Basic knowledge of engine/transmission controls, software and calibration
    • Basic knowledge of OBD diagnostics is a plus
    • Experience with hybrid vehicle development, systems, or electrical architecture is a plus
    • Strong PC skills required; including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Outlook
    • Must be able to interact with all levels of management
    • Strong organization skills, ability to follow projects/tasks to completion
    • Can manage multi task assignments
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills



    • Will be required to drive a company car.
    • A valid driver’s license is required as well as a clean driving record.
    • Will be required to travel domestically and internationally up to 20%
