  • Responsibilities

    • Guide and mentor department managers/supervisors, manage staffing plans, manage schedules/work plans, and define performance requirements
    • Serve as the leader overseeing operational policy and procedure development, issue and risk management, application change management and defect resolution
    • Analyze, develop and execute Client operational goals and objectives which impact the immediate delivery of end to end IT services
    • Serve as the point of escalation for all IT operational processes
    • Assuring the reliability and performance of all Client products and services, including corporate and consumer services
    • Interfacing with product and IT managers to design technical solutions for strategic initiatives
    • Lead the Infrastructure Manager, Operations Manager and Security specialists to implement sustainable, stable and secured technical designs
    • Identify, design and support areas of integration between three lines of business
    • Develop metrics to measure team success and system performance
    • Work with Executive team to establish priorities for IT strategy
    • Analyze and select appropriate hardware solutions and technical architectures for production systems
    • Maintain an ongoing awareness of emerging trends and developments in technology that could impact Client
    • Maintain ongoing awareness of security best practices and standards

    Qualifications


    • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
    • 6+ years of IT Operations Management experience
    • Strong organization and prioritization skills
    • Strong project management background and demonstrated experience leading multi-functional teams to deliver verifiable, impactful results
    • Continuous improvement background including process improvement and DevOps experience is desired
    • In-depth knowledge of Information Technology principles, theories, and concepts to manage functional areas and provide effective/efficient business solutions
    • Experience providing IT solutions in a highly secured environment
    • Experience providing IT solutions in a high volume, high performance environment
    • Strong leadership and mentoring skills, proven by a track record of success
    • Ability to troubleshoot and debug highly technical issues Desired Skills
    • High degree of leadership competency demonstrated by working effectively across the organization at multiple levels and departments
    • Solid technical skills with ability to influence all levels of the organization
    • Capability to work independently with minimal guidance
    • Excellent client communication skills. Demonstrated ability to interpret and communicate, both verbally and in writing, complex information in a clear and concise manner
    • Self-motivated and capable of working in a dynamic environment
