  • Responsibilities


    • Proposes and evaluates manufacturing process and equipment for assigned areas of plant
    • Directs the development and/or improvements of manufacturing processes and equipment Evaluates expenditures for processes and/or equipment
    • Provides technical assistance and training for assigned plant operations
    • Regular contact with others outside the work group
    • Works closely with production and maintenance personnel and suppliers to ensure timely completion of projects
    • Analyze tooling and equipment and select proper steps for solution
    • Meet plant goals and standards in safety, quality, delivery and cost
    • Responsible for the effective use of personnel, material and equipment in supporting SPQRC initiatives
    • Must support plant in achieving Safety, People, Quality, Responsiveness and Cost goals
    • Must be willing to work any assigned shift, work daily, weekend, and holiday overtime as required
    • Supports/implements the QS9000/ISO14001/(GMS) Global Manufacturing System compliance processes
    • The ME Data Manager will be responsible for the review, updating and storage of ME and Maintenance documentation for new GPS Launches.
    • The data manager will work with the launch teams, OEM’s and plant personnel to ensure timely delivery of documentation along with verifying compliance to our client's standards.
    • This will also include tracking the progress of the delivery of the documentation along with the reporting of the leadership on the status.
    • This assignment will require that a considerable amount of creativity and initiative be exercised as well as demonstrating a high level of independent judgment.


    • Management of engineering documentation for new GPS programs


    • Collection and review of technical documentation for new programs




    • Strong interpersonal skills involving ability to work effectively cross-functionally and cross-culturally
    • Strong written and oral communication skills necessary for meetings and presentations
    • Ability to work well with others, exhibiting teamwork skills
    • Partners with senior management to analyze and solve issues
    • Ability to multitask by handling diverse assignments concurrently
    • Expert knowledge of tooling and manufacturing processes
    • Position related experience 
    • Relevant auto industry experience required 
    • Bachelor’s Degree


    • Experience with Teamcenter applications


    • Proven ability to create applications in Excel utilizing the advanced functions including pivot tables and macros


    • Experience working with and interacting with global team by adapting to work schedules, culture, etc.


    • Strong customer service skills and focus


    • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.


    • Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills


    • Good listening skills with ability to present ideas and solutions in business-friendly and user-friendly language


    • Proficient in the use of software such as MS Word, MS Access and strong general computing skills in a

    • Microsoft Windows environment


    • Documentation/training material development skills


    • The ability to prioritize and execute tasks


    • The ability to work in a team-oriented and collaborative environment


    • Self-motivated and directed, with attention to detail, dependable and punctual



    • High School Diploma or GED
    • Bachelor of Science in Engineering
