  • Responsibilities

    • The Connected Services Business Analyst will help achieve world-class quality in the automotive mobile applications. These app features are implemented in smart-phones, wearable devices, and in the interface to the vehicles and cloud systems. The Connected Services Business Analyst will be responsible for, but not limited to:
    • Working with a small team of Application (App/app) Developers, Engineers, and Graphic Designers to create Agile Development Requirements (User Stories) for iOS / Android mobile app features and/or radio app features.
    • Work with Business teams to define primary customer requirements for new connectivity features.
    • Work with development teams on a daily basis to identify, understand root causes, and correct issues.
    • Create user stories and requirements to define feature functionality.
    • Assist the Product Owner with the development, qualification, and release of mobile apps to stores.
    • Explain requirements and stories to development and qualification/testing teams and verify by inspection and testing the proper implementation of requirements and stories.


    • Bachelor’s degree.
    • 2+ years recent web / mobile application development
    • 1+ year experience comprehensive technical documentation creation with minimal guidance.
    • Experience working with Agile or Scrum development methodologies.
    • Basic understanding of cloud networks and automotive connectivity system design.
    • Proficient in technical communication, verbal and written.
    • A strong understanding of and empathy for users of mobile phone and/or radio apps.


    Preferred Qualifications


    • Direct experience coding in Android / Java / Xcode / Swift / HTML / CSS / JavaScript
    • Experience with Automotive Connectivity systems.
    • Experience with Automotive Vehicle Networks and CAN bus architecture.
    • Ability to work in a cross-functional team with designers, coders, integrators and business teams.
    • Experience writing technical requirements and/or feature specifications.
    • Experience with user acceptance testing methods.
    • Experience with wire framing mockup tools – Balsamiq, Invision, Marvel, Flinto, etc.
    • Experience in developing high fidelity proof of concepts




    • Will be required to drive a company car.
    • Valid driver's license is required as well as a clean driving record.
    • Will be required to travel domestically and internationally 20%.
