  • Responsibilities

    • Lead a cross functional team dedicated to the development and release of tPMBD Controls and Software
    • Release all deliverables per the program milestones essential for the team. This entails interacting across many technical organizations within the Company
    • Model positive leadership behavior and mentor teammates to help the organization grow in capability and throughput
    • Be responsible for all aspects of the software content, release planning and releasing software.



    • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, as accredited by ABET or ABET
    • 5-10 years' experience in electro-mechanical systems and/or software/hardware development
    • Life-cycle experience in Electronics, Controls, Software or Electro-Mechanical Systems
    • Detailed and Process-oriented and capable of managing change


    Preferred Requirements

    • Master of Science degree in Engineering, as accredited by ABET or ABET
    • Understanding of Powertrain controls, software/hardware development
    • Have strong System Engineering skills to lead the project releases
    • Be skillful in cross functional team problem solving and have strong knowledge of all the functional areas that are supporting the team in development of transmission management systems.
    • Be able to root-cause project level situations, make technical recommendations for the good of the program and meet program objectives
    • Exhibit strong team presence by engaging in the project and developing alternatives when road blocks occur to ensure project objectives are achieved
    • Exhibit strong communication skills
    • Organizational skills: He or she must be a team player, supporting and promoting team accomplishments versus personal achievement, with a proven ability to drive change and bring projects to fruition through influence and collaboration across the organization in a highly fluid environment.

    Driving and Travel Requirements:

    • Will be required to drive a company car. A valid drivers license is required as well as a clean driving record.
    • Will be required to travel domestically and internationally up to 20%
