  • Responsibilities

    • The Cost Analyst will be responsible for managing cost reduction ideas through suppliers' productivity and efficiency enhancement. They will be engaging internal buyers and suppliers to interpret process/product efficiencies that will reduce variable costs within Body/Raw Material commodities.
    • They will develop appropriate product specifications replicating the ideas from purchasing and updating discrepancies to achieve required function at minimum cost.
    • They will be documenting this data into a database and will report to finance and purchasing organizations.
    • They will participate in meetings and be exposed to price benchmarking, tear-down activities, and synergy activities.


    • Will specifically be focused on Technical Cost Reduction Tracking
    • Previous experience managing and coordinating projects
    • Must have strong Microsoft Office knowledge (primarily Outlook, Word, Excel)
    • Proactive personality and character demonstrating an ability to complete activities
    • Strong verbal, organizational, technical ability, and people skills required
    • Strong organizational logical thinking skills
    • Ability to manage many tasks and to prioritize appropriately
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle all conversations / interactions


    Preferred Qualifications

    • Automotive experience is preferred
    • Lotus Notes preferred




    • Bachelors Degree
