  • Responsibilities


    - Provides plan and schedule development support

    - Generates and distributes plan and schedule reports

    - Prepares required presentations and graphics

    - Participates as a member of the project team

    - Provides data input and analysis

    - Implements processes in place, for gathering and managing requirements and data for specific projects

    - Maintains project schedule

    - Ensures project scope and success factors are communicated throughout project team



    - Effective and high level of oral and written communication skills

    - Interpersonal skills to work effectively with team members

    - High degree of professionalism and integrity

    - Ability to understand and translate customer business requirements

    - Analytical and creative ability where problems are difficult

    - Proficient with personal computer hardware and software

    - Familiar with at least one project management tool set

    - Proficient with PC based databases

    - Minimal experience with project management

    - Understands Critical Path Method (CPM) methodology, techniques, and scheduling

    - Ability to maintain project schedules and data

    - One to three years Project Management and/or business experience

    - Entry level position



    - Bachelors degree and/or three years equivalent work experience




    - Collaborate with buyers to plan, execute and coordinate training offerings to support the Global Training Curriculum

    - Monitor compliance for new-hires to complete the required training

    - Support training offerings for all purchasing locations (remote will be web-training). Coordination is required with the instructions, scheduling, and calendar, and communication

    - Maintain the training schedules, calendars, and communication. Must also verify attendance rosters are maintained to ensure course-credit is applied to all participants (tracking & monitoring)

    - Assist Strategic Planning Development Team with various planning and oversight activities for offer training when/where needed

    - Work requires interface across all regions and Global Propulsion Systems (formerly Powertrain)

    - Conduct Orientation for new hires as they onboard
