  • Responsibilities

    The Technical Expertise & Support IT Organization for Engineering & Maintenance has a unique opportunity for a Digital Workflow Product SME.  The Digital Workflow Product SME will play a key role in leading the strategic development, evaluation, & global implementation of current IT technology supporting the engineering & maintenance function and its global work processes.  The primary function of this role is to support digital workflow product through troubleshooting, assessing enhancement value, ensure seamless upgrades, and application testing.  Based on functional and technical requirements, the digital workflow product SME will investigate and evaluate products and technologies to digitalize engineering & maintenance work processes.  A significant part of this role might also involve assessing the value creation of new opportunities to digitalize the engineering & maintenance work processes.

     

    Job duties included but not limited to:

    • Provide product support for IT applications
    • Work with Product Team to facilitate alignment with product support requirements, guidelines and communications
    • Work with Product Team to implement successful changes to production environments (product upgrades, patches, hot fixes, etc.)
    • Lead product testing and develop testing scenarios
    • Work with Product Manager and Product Support Team to coordinate the development and improvement of work processes, procedures, and communication plans
    • Eliminate problem situations by pro-actively promoting inter-product communication and with the use of best product support work practices
    • Work with Product Support Team to assess improvement value of current and future innovative ideas
    • Collect and provide data for support requirements
    • Work with Product Support Team to ensure functional use and training of the products
    • Work with Product Support Team to identify and escalate support issues and make recommendations for resolution

     

    Qualifications

      

    • At least 5 years of equivalent experience in Operations, IT, or Maintenance
    • English fluency required
    • Have strong interpersonal effectiveness skills to interface with different stakeholders.
    • Must be able to synthesize a technical problem into requirements and communicate to different audiences effectively.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Be able to effectively communicate and understand the needs of the businesses and functions of the different client sites/cultures.
    • Exhibits a high degree of initiative.
    • Be able to work on and prioritize competing priorities.
    • Experience with digital work-flow products such as Mobideo is a plus, but not required
    • Experience in maintenance work process is a plus, but not required
    • In depth understanding of software support needs.
    • Experience in troubleshooting/supporting IT applications

    Travel

    • Possibility of 5-10% travel
