  • Responsibilities

    • Become a team member on an outstanding, fun-loving, Full Stack, Agile product development team.
    • Our day starts out by huddling around our Kanban board sharing goals and obstacles.
    • After the huddle, we break into pairs or mob on business problems then commit our code several times a day to our Git repository.
    • Once we push to Git, then our continuous delivery pipeline starts building and testing the application.




    Experience Required:

    • Languages/tools including but not limited to Java, Angular, C Sharp, Bash, MS SQL, Spring, Git, Jenkins Full-stack software engineer participating within a product team to deliver valuable software:
    • Developing applications in the Corporate Native Cloud environment hosted within the Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF) platform.
    • Full stack software engineer working with all layers of the application include mobile, web, services, cloud, database, infrastructure, and automated testing software, leveraging the appropriate languages, tools and technologies.
    • Experience with software craftsman (XP) development practices including:  Test Driven Development, Paired Programming, Mobbing, Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery, estimation.
    • Develops software with a paired partner or mob to deliver user stories that contribute to a valuable working software product often operating as the lead partner.
    • Develops automated unit tests with working software to confirm software functionality conformance to functional and non-functional requirements.
    • Develops automated functional tests to confirm user story acceptance and to detect regression defects.
    • Improves continuous integration tooling by automating manual processes within the delivery pipeline and improving quality gates based on past learnings.
    • Reviews ongoing production software operations and troubleshoots production issues.
    • Implements tooling that monitors application operation and performance metrics to manage application and automatically notifies team when a failure occurs in production.

    Education Required:


    • Bachelor Degree (or equivalent on the job experience)
