Responsibilities

The Specialty Developer is responsible for the development and administration of dealer portal web solutions leveraging various .NET technologies. Responsibilities require extensive knowledge and skills obtained through education and experience in developing complex enterprise software solutions (commercial off the shelf packages or purchased components), which are integrated with other systems and in-house developed code.

Qualifications

Required:

  • B.S. Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent work experience in the requested field
  • Responsible for assisting in the planning, design, configuration, testing and implementation of web-based solutions
  • Maintain sound change and release management practices
  • Collaborate with business analysts and other developers to perform technical analysis based on business requirements.
  • Prepare or maintain documentation including: release notes, detailed design specifications, system and user documentation
  • Provide input into software estimates that accurately reflect the level of effort required for requested development
  • Support SharePoint version upgrade (to SP2016) and migration efforts and/or upgrade to replacement technologies such as SiteCore or EpiServer
  • Provide support to diagnose and resolve application, configuration and coding issues
  • Five plus years of development experience with .NET technologies
  • Analyze requirements and design, code, test, debug and document custom or framework-based front end script and markup language
  • Design and develop responsive UI solutions based on HTML 5, Bootstrap framework, Angular JS
  • Should be able to suggest best practices
  • A passion for all things tech and has a drive to experiment with new technologies to see where they can benefit the business
  • Experience of using Visual studio, ASP.NET, C-sharp
  • Enhance existing programs and systems to correct errors or provide new functions
  • Experience writing and/or consuming web services (SOAP/REST and JSON/XML)
  • Experience with at least one CMS tool (SharePoint, SiteCore, EpiServer, etc.)

Preferred:

  • Ability to quickly learn a new environment and understand the big picture from a programmatic and technical standpoint
  • Experience of working with the AGILE methodology
  • Mobile Development (IOS and/or Android native, Xamarin, etc.)
  • CMS experience with Sitecore and/or Episerver
  • Integrating with SMS services such as Twilio, Plivo, Nexmo, etc
