The purpose of the Program Manager position is to coordinate activities and support for the global expansion of connected services across a multi-geographic footprint. The Program Manager is responsible to ensure the Service Delivery Platform and all related components, interfaces, and architectures needed to support global connected vehicle services are delivered according to planned timelines and with high quality results. The Program Manager will utilize standard processes, templates and other related Program Management tools to help manage this work.


This position is not responsible for the actual design/development deliverables, core radio functionality or vehicle components/architecture. However, the person in this position will ensure that the cross-global organization and suppliers work together as part of an integrated timeline and will organize, manage, control, and direct all activities of the program.


Major Duties (not inclusive):

  • Global Integrated Program Schedule & Review Meetings
    •  Develop and maintain overall program integrated schedule – Aggregated view of development timing, testing, and release milestones overlaid against vehicle milestones
    • Facilitate Global Integrated Program Review meetings
    • Publish agenda, notes / follow-up items
    • Work with global development teams, IT, and suppliers to confirm timing, identify key program risks, issues, and dependencies
    • Keys to Success: Maintain a detailed, well-organized Global Integrated Program Schedule, ensuring it aligns with all development schedules from other regions in order to meet planned timing. Effectively facilitates global program review meetings, involving Product Managers, Shared Services, Development Teams, Qualification Teams and Suppliers.
  • Project Dashboard Support
    • Work with project owners & development teams to identify missing project information, create past due timing reports, create awareness of upcoming milestones, etc.
    • Support & track funding / governance approvals, PO status, etc. within the project dashboard (support technical & business teams)
      Keys to Success: Proactively work with development teams to maintain awareness of timing commitments and keep things on-track. Create increased visibility on projects that are behind schedule and work to support recovery plans with development team. Ensure funding and governance approval status is accurately updated in the dashboard for each project.



  • Bachelor’s degree preferably, in Computer Science, IT or engineering.
  • 3-5 years Program Management specific to large scale Systems Implementation and/or Vehicle Integration experience, including product launch experience (NOT ENTRY LEVEL)
  • Experience with Systems development and integration projects
  • Demonstrated portfolio management experience, enabling proper project prioritization, timing and ability to deliver
  • Expert Microsoft excel skills
  • Experience with managing large cross-functional teams
  • Expertise in planning and prioritizing multiple projects, capturing risks & issues and escalating appropriately
  • Expertise in creating and documenting feature delivery plans utilizing standard templates and timelines
  • Excellent communication skills and experience interacting with management


  • Automotive industry vehicle engineering/vehicle launch experience.
  • Telematics (Connected Vehicle) program experience, either from the Program Management or the Project Management perspective.

Driving and Travel Requirements:

  • Will be required to drive a company car, valid driver’s license is required, as well as, a clean driving record.
  • Will be required to travel domestically up to 20%
