Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with team to improve manning efficiency, workplace safety, and eliminate bottlenecks.  
  • Position will perform cycle time and bottleneck analyses to improve work methods. 
  • This position will also support the Future Model General Assembly lead through graphical reporting of key performance indicators (HPV, Rate Capability, Change Management, etc.) and implement improvements required to achieve these metrics.
  • Support World Class Manufacturing (WCM) especially the WO (Workplace Organization) and LO (Logistic) pillars. 
  • Will be required to drive a company car.  Valid driver’s license is required as well as a clean driving record.
  • Will be required to travel domestically 20%

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience, but also open to entry level candidates.
  • Assembly experience (Unit leader, assembly line, auto assembly)
  • Knowledge of at least one-time study method and system; ex.: MODAPTs, MTM, AMPS, etc. 
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
  • Excellent communication, problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Candidate needs to be self-motivated and goal driven.
