  • Responsible for translating PD business requirements into a solution, with Teamcenter Enterprise (Metaphase) as the PLM backbone.
  • Support new projects and enhancement, with responsibility for delivery and technical leadership utilizing Teamcenter Enterprise toolset.
  • Take the lead on identifying potential solution alternatives, and validating solution options.
  • Provide analytic support for workstream decisions related to content prioritization, implementation strategies, design options, and feasibility.
  • Develop a strong knowledge of the Siemens Teamcenter PLM tools, with an emphasis on providing hands-on expertise to identify and validate solution alternatives.
  • Previous experience with Teamcenter Enterprise (Metaphase) is mandatory and it is desirable to have a background in embedded software environment.
  • Experience supporting or interacting with embedded software engineers and tools/processes that support them will be of particular importance.
  • Performs investigations, feasibility, bench-marking and analytical studies on the business process and Teamcenter implementation alternatives
  • Recommends requirements based on business need; negotiates trade-offs between competing requirements
  • Captures requirements, documents use cases, develops test strategies and plans, and supports the VSEM delivery and roll-out strategies.
  • Develops and maintains a thorough understanding of business requirements. Participates in User Acceptance Testing.
  • Develops and delivers presentations, demonstrations, and prototypes to communicate an understanding of business, user and functional requirements
  • Supports the program team, strategic supplier partners, and product supplier in the development of technical design.

Experience Required:

Technically proficient:

  • Must have previous experience with Teamcenter Enterprise (Metaphase).
  • Must be able to quickly get up-to-speed on Electronic HW and SW development processes and tools
  • Ability to clearly communicate and document technical requirements in a standardized way that is well understood by vendors, business partners, and IT delivery partners
  • Experience with customer facing projects and ability to work with customers to optimize processes and workflows.
  • Hands-on technical analysis capability -- ability to identify, plan, and execute appropriate proof-of-concept and prototypes to evaluate and demonstrate solution proposals.
  • Strong communication/interpersonal skills.
  • Good organization and time management skills, demonstrated by planning of projects and activities.
  • Strong skills to prioritize tasks and work to deadlines.
  • Flexible and adaptable. Respond to, and manage change well.
  • Excellent teamwork skills with good interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Good literacy and numeric skills.


Experience Preferred:

  • Domain Knowledge
  • Experience with embedded software development environment (support of tools, processes, methods in the embedded software space; experience working with embedded software engineers)
  • Technical Skills
  • Excellent understanding of software customization and development processes.


Education Required:

Bachelors in Electrical / Mechanical / Computer Science
