  • Support High Mileage Reliability Test fleet for the powertrain core engine, transmission, driveline and electrified propulsion programs.
  • Develop a test plan and ensure the test plan, once executed will meet the test acceptance criteria metrics.
  • Identify targets during planning phase and ensure the test plan targets are met during test execution, including rotation through key environmental sites and emission tests results are signed off
  • Coordinate all retrofits, software and calibration updates, and ensure data collection is functioning as needed off of the vehicle
  • Support rapid resolution for the vehicle shut-downs, support the triage/diagnosis
  • Ensure all incidents are reported for transparency and disposed of properly
  • Publish weekly Reliability Demonstration updates
  • Publish daily status on test fleet and escalation notices
  • Maintain 75% or better uptime on fleet
  • Lead Vehicle test preparation
  • Ensure replacement parts are on hand at the various test sites
  • Log specifications


Required Engineering Experience & Skills

  • 3+ years of professional experience in Powertrain engineering (development, validation and/or Reliability)
  • 3+ years of professional experience with DFMEA, DVP&R and Statistical Analysis
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, presentation and computer skills (MS Excel, word, PowerPoint)

Engineering Education Required

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Mathematics

Preferred Engineering Experience & Skills:

  • Experience with OBD and after treatment systems
  • Understanding of system interface & development / analysis of system Failure Mode & Effects Analysis, Performance Specifications, Design Verification Plan and Report, Design Best Practices, Duty Cycles, Warranty data, and Statistical tools
