Responsibilities

  • Utilize digital simulations techniques to support new and existing programs.
  • Partner with both corporate and plant personnel to prioritize various aspects of OEM simulation
  • Prepare and maintain of Manufacturing Bill of Materials (MBOM) & Product Assembly Catalogue (PAC document)
  • Digital Scroll Build support for all programs
  • Coordinate detailed station level simulations using Process Simulate for all required stations
  • Participate in creation and review of quick simulation process during launch prep phase
  • Work collaboratively with multiple groups to support launch

Qualifications

Required Engineering Experience & Skills

  • 1 year or more of experience (academic or professional) with PLM tools (CATIA, TeamCenter)
  • 1 year or more of experience (academic or professional) performing virtual simulations or computer-aided design
  • Strong computer, (MS Office), communication and interpersonal skills

 

Engineering Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology, Industrial Human Factors, or Manufacturing Engineering,

 

Preferred Engineering Experience & Skills

  • Experience with Plant launch and/or performing virtual simulations in a manufacturing setting
  • Siemens virtual assembly products (Process Simulate, TeamCenter, Vis Mockup, Classic Jack etc)
  • Knowledge of vehicle assembly processes
