Responsibilities

  • Develop engineering predictive ER&D estimates for specific vehicle families.
  • Work with standard estimating templates and the program team to gather all of the program requirements necessary to complete an estimate.
  • Utilize assembled information to begin estimate with internal teams to develop the manpower and determine the prototype tooling, co-design costs, test parts, etc.
  • Coordinate information so that Quality, Design Office, Aftermarket , and Powertrain Integration can also complete their ER&D estimates.
  • Assemble all of the respective ER&D estimates into one complete file that is based off of consistent assumptions to support an approval event

Qualifications

Required Experience & Skills
• 5+ years of experience in the automotive or aerospace industry
• 2 years or more of project management experience
• Blend of Finance & Engineering experience
• Ability to manage multiple estimates and present             information to all level of management
• Strong organizational, communication & MS Office skills

 

Education Required
• Advance degree in Finance and/or Business Administration

 

Preferred Experience & Skills
• SAP experience
