  • The KBE Engineer is responsible for performing body closure doors 3D part development from concept through production release using KBE parametric methodology.
  • The KBE Engineer will develop and apply requirement sections to existing and new door architectures to develop full door assemblies or all components.
  • Support Studio Engineering by conducting feasibility studies using full set of KBE tools, attend and support manufacturing feasibility meetings for problem resolution.
  • Track and lead issue resolution activities within area of responsibility.
  • May be required to drive a company car. Valid driver’s license is required as well as a clean driving record. May be required to travel domestically and internationally (Canada) 20%


  • A minimum of a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited university is highly preferred, HS/GED with 5-10 years experience is acceptable within 2 weeks of posting.
  • 5 years in body engineering with prior training/work experience: Teamcenter/NX training, parametric methodology, DFSS and Teamcenter and Catia V5


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Body-In-White (BIW) experience
  • Manufacturing or launch experience
  • Good understanding of body engineering and design process, including dimensional and structural requirements.
