  • Manage the resolution and prevention of Interior systems quality issues including warranty (C/1000 and EPUS), JD Power -- IQS and VDS, CQI and Consumers Report
  • Lead cross-functional teams in the root cause, containment, corrective action, and service action for quality/warranty issues,
  • Analyze prioritized warranty data to ensure the team is focused on the top problems
  • Bridge communications between Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supplier Quality, to ensure the correct expertise is engaged in the resolution process,
  • Document the issue status in the Global Issue Management System on a regular basis
  • Communicate lessons learned to be incorporated into DFMEAs, DVP&R, AMPS, and design practices
  • Analyze warranty data
  • Travel to dealerships, assembly plants and suppliers to drive improvement in warranty and customer satisfaction


Required Engineering Experience & Skills

  • 8+ years of automotive product, quality or manufacturing engineering experience
  • 5+ years of experience supporting automotive interior systems
  • 3+ years of experience with automotive HVAC systems
  • Demonstrated leadership, problem solving, multitasking communication and interpersonal skills


Engineering Education Required

  • Bachelor Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering


Preferred Engineering Experience & Skills

  • Familiarity with N.A. OEM systems, processes, and procedures


Engineering Education Preferred

  • Master's degree (Engineering, Business)
  • Reactive Shainin Green/Black Belt certification
