    Director of Sales & Business Development


    TITLE: Director of Sales & Business Development


    REPORTS TO: President


    SUPERVISES: Account Managers & Business Development Managers


    GENERAL SUMMARY: The Director of Sales & Business Development must be a senior leader driven by a passion to deliver, be motivated to lead by example, be fearlessly proactive and create valuable relationships built on confidence. This individual will bring in new large national accounts as well as maintain and develop major accounts, manage staff, assist in operations decisions, management meetings and strategic planning of the company. Negotiate Client contracts, negotiate purchasing contracts, and participate in hiring decisions of internal staff. The individual will be responsible for growth & profitability of the organization.



    1. Influence and drive all sales strategy to obtain desired performance objectives.
    2. Bring in new national accounts to increase sales.
    3. Maintain and grow existing accounts.
    4. Drive the success of G-TECH’s Sales channels (current and new business)
    5. Develop and implement Strategic Sales Plan focusing on New Business Development across the U.S.
    6. Build strong client relationships with strong performance against all client metrics.
    7. Propose & execute strategic initiatives to grow the business including diversification of offering, expansion in new geographic territories, expansion into MSP, etc.
    8. Hire, manage, coach and mentor sales team. 
    9. Monitor quality and consistency of all sales processes and activities.
    10. Assist in management decisions, strategic planning and operations decisions.
    11. Manage select staff.
    12. Gather and present account statistics and other information at quarterly meetings.
    13. Initiate and oversee process improvement teams.
    14. Train Clients on co-employment; co-employment subject matter expert.
    15. Responsible for meeting Company revenue and profitability targets.
    16. Take Lead in WBENC & other conferences.
    17. Responsible for sales and delivery of direct hire business.
    18. Responsible for resource planning, staffing & allocation based on client needs.

    Education: Bachelor degree or equivalent work experience.  


    Experience: A minimum of 10 years technical staffing, sales and management experience.  Must have proven track record of executing growth strategies through diversification, growth in major VMS accounts, and expansion into new geographic territories. Must have vast knowledge and experience in business development in MSP areas.  


    Skills: Strong negotiating skills. Sales training courses. Account Management training. Statistical classes. Computer literate in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet. Excellent verbal and written communications skills.

The ability to drive a car to Client sites for visits.


    Working Conditions: Ability to travel the necessary amount of time in order to fulfill the duties of the position.


    Training Requirements: ISO overview, Recruiting Database, Account Rep Training, Policies and Procedures orientation, Client orientation as required.
